Vibrating Dildo
A vibrating dildo is a dildo with a motor inside it. The shape still does the work of filling and pressing; the vibration adds a second layer on top. In our range most models go further than simple vibration and add thrusting as well, which puts them somewhere between a plain shaft and a powered machine.

Vibration and thrusting are not the same thing
Worth separating, because the two get sold together and feel completely different.
Vibration is a buzz transmitted through the shaft. It stimulates nerve endings directly and works best where they are concentrated — near the entrance and against the front wall. Vibration alone does not produce a sense of motion.
Thrusting is the shaft physically moving in and out. It produces the sensation of movement that vibration cannot, and it is the reason most of our models include it. The YIQU range is built this way, combining ten thrusting modes with ten vibration settings in one shaft.
A toy that does both lets you use them separately. Most people end up using one or the other rather than both at full intensity.
Where the motor sits
This determines more about how a vibrating dildo feels than the number of modes does.
Tip motor concentrates vibration at the head, which suits targeted internal stimulation.
Base motor spreads vibration through the whole shaft and reaches the entrance, where most of the nerve endings are.
Dual motors give you both and can usually be controlled independently. More versatile, and more expensive.
Choosing between this and the alternatives
If you want the shape and firmness without a motor, the plain dildo range is larger, cheaper and silent.
If you want skin-like material and anatomical detail with the vibration, several of our realistic dildos include motors — those two categories overlap heavily.
If you want sustained mechanical thrusting rather than a handheld toy that thrusts, a dildo sex machine is the right category. A vibrating dildo thrusts over a short stroke; a machine has a much longer one.
What to check before buying
- Whether functions run independently. Being locked into combined modes is the most common frustration with these toys.
- Motor strength at low settings, not the top speed. A toy that only registers on maximum has one setting.
- Noise. Thrusting mechanisms are audible in a way vibration alone is not.
- Waterproof rating, which matters more than usual — a toy with a motor and seams needs to be rinsed properly.
- Remote control, useful for partnered use and for adjusting without repositioning.
- Battery life, since thrusting draws considerably more power than vibration.
- Flared base, without exception if there is any chance of anal use.
Heating
Several models in this range warm the shaft to around body temperature. It makes no difference to the motion and a large one to the first few seconds — silicone at room temperature reads immediately as cold, and warming removes that. If you have found toys clinical before, this is usually why.
Cleaning
A motor means seams, and seams collect residue. Wash with warm water and a mild unscented soap or a dedicated toy cleaner after every use, paying attention to the join between the shaft and the base and to any moving section. Do not submerge unless the model is rated waterproof — check rather than assume. Dry fully before storing.
Water-based lubricant only: silicone lubricant degrades silicone. Store away from other silicone toys. Charge before storing rather than after.
Common questions
Is vibration better than thrusting? Different. Vibration stimulates nerve endings; thrusting creates motion. If you can only have one, thrusting is closer to what a dildo is for and vibration is the better addition to it.
Can I use the functions separately? On most models yes, but check — some only offer combined modes.
Are they noisy? The thrusting ones, somewhat. Pure vibration is quiet.
Is a vibrating dildo good for beginners? It is a lot of sensation at once. A plain dildo plus a separate small vibrator is a gentler way to find out what you like.
Do you ship discreetly? Yes — plain outer packaging with no product or brand markings on the outside.
